Montana Fishing Licenses
All anglers aged 14 and up are required to buy a license to fish in Montana. For Non Residents, licenses are sold in blocks of either 2 or 10 days. The cost is $25 per 2 days OR $56 per 10 days. Additionally, a Conservation License must be purchased each year for $10. Season-long fishing licenses are also available for $86. Non-Resident kids aged 1-13 are not required to purchase a license provided they are accompanied by an adult who does have a valid MT fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online through the above link or at local fly shops and sporting good stores.
